If the 'noles can spell out Florida State in a cheer (which is pretty impressive), they must be able to spell overrated (and minimum wage for that matter). But I guess Florida State is a pretty common phrase down there and if you see and hear something enough you can learn it without really comprehending.

The foundation is unsteady: they only beat Tech by 8 points and some call that "kicking ass". What happen to the old days of CRUSHING opponents? What's that you say? FSU isn't capable of crushing opponents anymore? (at least not any team that's worth a lick) The almighty seminoles couldn't beat Tech without the help of the officials. The glory days at Free Shoes University are numbered.

Any team can dominate if they throw respectability out the window. The only program dirtier than FSU is Alabama. How many institutes of learning value education so little that they cancel two days of class for one meaningless football game? Bobby Bowden is the biggest putz in college football. "Oh, if any of our players breaks the rules, he will suffer the consequences. . . regardless of his importance." Remember that little pre-Sugar Bowl scam? That 73 year old buffoon needs to hang it up. He is slipping horribly in his old age. Why the hell else do you think Amato and Richt jumped ship? It wasn't because they were tired of contending for national championships. They saw the future was clouding up on the 'Noles. They got tired of the "Dangit, we shoulda had that one" and the "Hell, I know they daddies if'n he's got one." Bowden was a good coach in his day. But that day has come and gone just like 8 tracks. Florida State had its time at the top. No coach will guide them back. All these last second victories are soon to become last second losses, then third quarter slip-ups. . . and in a matter of five years or less, FSU will once again be Homecoming opponent material.

With a win over North Carolina on Saturday...Florida
State will clinch, no worse than a tie for its 10th title
in the last 11 years.
