My opinion the years that Felipe Alou managed the Montreal Expos under the harshest conditions for any field general and have even the slightest degree of success that Alou had, merits him to be in a class of great managers.
I was very pleased to see that the S.F. Giants had the wisdom to hire Alou to head manage their ball club.
