Congrats to the coaching staff and the players. They are well deserving of it. The MD fans on the other hand, I cannot send out a congrats to you. Their fans had me cheering against an ACC school tonight. The're probably burning down all the government buildings in D.C. now.

Drew, I doubt that many of the "fans" you speak of are UM students or alums. The trouble causers are most likely people who saw a chance to screw up things and have no asociation with the University.
That said, Congrats to the Terps. National Champions....nice ring to that.
Bomber, thanks.

A well deserved victory by the Terps. Congratulations to them.
Strangely enough their victory makes me think about Lefty, who once promised to make them the UCLA of the East. I used to love to watch him coach and was fortunate enough to meet him a few times. I've always felt that he was unfairly treated in the Len Bias situation. In some ways, I feel like his determination, shenanigans, and accomplisments laid the groundwork for this title. He brought the University some prominence and some unfortunate notoriety, but he raised the expectations at Maryland.
Rick, you're welcome.
