LOL, as GDawg will tell you, EVERYONE knows Atlanta is the Capitol. There is a is saying, there are 2 Georgia's, Atlanta, and everything else. If she wants to call me "Dumn", I will be happy to give her a history lesson on Georgia. Augusta WAS going to be the Capitol, but Milledgeville took its place, at least until Atlanta. We DO have the oldest newspaper in the South though, the Augusta Chronicle. We were also one of the ONLY major cities that DIDN'T get burned by Sherman as, as legend has it, he was in love with an Augustan. Augusta is also home to the Godfather of Soul (Actually, he's in Beech Island, SC, but that's like me saying I'm from Martinez....which is a 'burb of Augusta.

Hope that made me less "Dumn".
