<a href="http://northcarolina.theinsiders.com/2/52853.html" target="_blank">"Scott Lenahan, a 6-1, 296-pound OL/DL from Kennesaw, Ga. has committed to North Carolina."</a>

Apparently, he's ranked 3 stars by Rivals. They're talking about his possibly playing center for UNC.

GO HEELS!

Lenahan plays for Harrison High School which has become a Cobb County football powerhouse in the past few years. Harrison made it to the 2nd round of the AAAAA state playoffs this year.

He attended the Georgia Nike camp back in April. Some stats: 42 reps on the bench (185 lbs each), and a 4.9 in the 40.

He also competed in shotput & discus this spring, finishing 2nd in the 5AAAAA region championships in shot with a throw of 49-04.50 and 3rd in discus with a throw of 133-03.

Sounds like UNC has a good pickup in Lenahan. Always good to see local boys end up in the ACC.

<a href="http://rivals100.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=11292" target="_blank">Rivals page</a> for Lenahan.

We need to hit the OL (and DL) trails hard this year, and this is a great start to that.

Good pick up for our football team. Recruiting is going very well! <img border="0" alt="[Cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/cheers.gif" />
Just saw a link about this on IC, and thought I should point it out: <a href="http://tamu.theinsiders.com/2/50537.html" target="_blank">Lenahan made Nike's AA second team.</a>

Not bad! I'm really starting to get excited about NC football, even if I'll probably never get to see any games.

Well, we moved to PA where nearly every TV game is not shown because they show all the northern teams. I had to give up my season tickets since I won't be able to travel for games. I'm hoping they might televise 1 or 2 around here.

I'm hoping we're going to be able to relocate southward where I can get to see my team in person, eat barbecue, and visit friends.
i know what u mean bomber, that sucks soo much! how did u like it this year when unc was at uconn for bball and they came on and said, "we're now goin to take you to a more competitive game..." so we had to watch texas tech beat up on oklahoma st... wow that was great!

oh well ill get down south someday!
I almost wished they would have switched us from the UConn game. That was painful....

I'll watch to the bitter end, but I won't have to like it. I hate those cutaways. They do that a lot in Olympic Basketball too.
