Funny how schedules look weak...when you win! Whoooo!
For perspective, BG is better than Memphis! :roflol:

I'm not the one saying my team is the most exciting in sports entertainment when you aren't even f-ing ranked. We call those people "Homers". You don't even PLAY Memphis this year so your words don't mean jack shiznit. We beat Florida last year and lost to Texas Tech. Again, you have a VERY weak schedule. You beat a questionable Purdue and the only OTHER ranked team you play shouldn't even BE #3 as they beat a sorry assed, unranked team by 3 friggin' points.
Bowling Green in the SEC= Vanderbilt.
Check out all these "Powerhouses" people:
BG's schedule:
Eastern Kentucky
Purdue
Liberty
No. 3 Ohio State
Central Michigan
Western Michigan
Eastern Michigan
Northern Illinois
Miami (OHIO)
Kent State
Ball State
Toledo
...and to put it in perspective:
Ole Miss's Schedule:
Vanderbilt
Memphis
Louisiana Monroe
Texas Tech
No. 20 Florida (SHOULD have beat Miami)
Arkansas State
Alabama (WILL be ranked)
Arkansas (WILL be ranked)
South Carolina (WILL be ranked...if they keep the same play)
Auburn (Will eventually start winning again)
No. 11 LSU
Mississippi St.
Can you say that many of the teams you are playing WILL be ranked?
RebelKev Wrote:I'm not the one saying my team is the most exciting in sports entertainment when you aren't even f-ing ranked. We call those people "Homers".
We call them fans.
And check out BG's ranking on offense for the past 2 years. Not my fault if Josh Harris is better than your versioin of a Manning!

You mean BG would be the top academic university and they wouldn't be on probation for cheating. Right on!

I would HARDLY call Vanderbilt the "Top Academic University in the SEC". Read and compare the accomplishments. What set's Vandy aside is that they are private. They have their accomplishments and the others have theirs.
As far as Manning (No, we don't have a version, we have the real one), he'd run circles around Harris. Let's talk when Eli gets into the NFL and IF Harris does. A fan isn't someone that blindly states his/her team is the most exciting in sports entertainment, hence that's why the column was in "BG News" and not the Washington Post. I'm an Ole Miss AND UGA fan but you DAMN sure wouldn't hear me say something as stupid as, "Ole Miss" would mop the floor with, say, Oklahoma.
Let us know when reality comesaknockin'.
If I didn't know any better, I would think you two don't get along.

Really?
Harris, one of 26 finalists for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, given to the nation's top senior quarterback, has piled up big numbers. Last year he rushed for 737 yards and 20 touchdowns and passed for 2,425 yards with 19 TDs.

Eli Manning MISS 15

Josh Harris BGSU 14

Next time do your research, RebelDope.

No, let's discuss what I wrote, instead of you throwing a hissy-fit over what might happen. Harris is lighting it up
now. Check out BG's ranking on offense over the last 2 seasons. (Hint: it's about 40 spots higher than Miss :roflol: )
Harris will probably excel in the NFL, but no one can predict the future.
Meanwhile, your team would be a bottom feeder in CUSA.
Welcome to reality

Sure is taking you a long time to reply. You don't have enough memory upstairs to make a coherent argument without deleting some files from your brain? What are you running on, about 64Mbs of memory?
As far as your stats, allow me to bold ELI'S numbers over Harris:

Oh, and here you go:

It DOES matter if the team the QB plays for actually PLAYS someone.

As usual, a pathetic effort at an insult, and a weak reply.
You brought up the NFL, and the NFL goes by QB ranking. (Yes, that is your face on the floor. You may want to pick it up before it gets stepped on.)
In your own words, Harris runs circles around junior. And these are passing stats, Harris is an order of magnitude better than junior when it comes to rushing.
The numbers you highlight aren't relevent because they indicate different amounts of playing time. Harris played less than 2 qtrs against EKU...meanwhile Eli is in full time because Ol Miss is always trying to come from behind.
I wonder how Ol Miss will fare against the SBC? Good thing you guys didn't schedule a tough team like North Texas.
RebelKev Wrote:It DOES matter if the team the QB plays for actually PLAYS someone.
Like the defending national champs?
Hmm, those SBC teams are looking tougher every week.

If and when you beat them, then come talk to me.
Besides, OSU is NOTHING like they were last year. They beat a no name by 3 damn points last weekend (13-16). Last season doesn't mean a damn thing. UGA won the SEC AND the Sugar Bowl but, although I am a fan, I don't think they are the strongest in the SEC right now.
This is 2003.

Hey, that bitch started in on me but if you want some, let's go.
Being a Toledo Rocket ( ) fan, you really have NO room to talk about ANY SEC team.
By the way, Eli IS awesome, he's just not protected and he STILL puts up the numbers on the statistics page.

This is what you call, "Being the greatest flaming conference"?
Like I said, you f-ers are lightweights. You can't argue so you whine like 'lil beeyatches. Want some cheese with that?
When your little conference has the history the SEC does, like I have been saying, come and talk to me. Other than that, you might as well be SWAC.

You're right, but this started with dumb*** torch bragging about Bowling Green being the most exciting team in sports entertainment. You would NEVER hear me brag about Ole Miss right now.
riiiiiight....you guys are just superstars huh?
you guys fawking suck....Eli did $hitty in both games this season
way to be a 4th quarter team there Rebels
and you had to pull one out of yoru a$$ to beat Vandy...

Oh man, I don't know how I can come back on that.
One sec. let me go get my 8 Y/O neighbor. He's on your level.
Just a bit of advice for you lightweights....when confronting someone intelligent, the toilet insults have no effect as he/she considers the source. The way you insult someone is to speak to them in a condescending tone, that is, if you have the wit yourself.
You guys have a LONG way to go.
its ok Bubba- I am an 8 year old...funny thing is youre wasting my time talking smack .
Looks like this one now belongs in the VAA....too many personal insults being thrown around to keep it in the Bar...
I do have to admit, I have nothing against the MAC. I have something against Dr. Torch. She started this debacle and I intend on finishing it.
I'm also somewhat of a Marshall fan.
Nasty Wrote:its ok Bubba- I am an 8 year old...funny thing is youre wasting my time talking smack .
You see people, only the ignorant stereotype. Because I am an Ole Miss fan, I am automatically a "Bubba", "Redneck", or "Hillbilly".
How sad it must be to be that ignorant.

Dear Sir you insult my intellegence...I was merely trying to persuade you to observe the dominate fashion in which the MAC conference member Northern Illinois defeated the #15 "Terrapins" of the University of Maryland
oh and Im know you know by now how Josh Harris and MAC member Bowling Green defeated #18/#20 Purdue
Nasty Wrote:oh and Im know you know by now how Josh Harris and MAC member Bowling Green defeated #18/#20 Purdue
Again, I was using the MAC because of a feud b/t Dr Torch and myself. I have NOTHING against the MAC.
Dateline September 6-
"Memphis quarterback Danny Wimprine outplayed his more heralded counterpart, Eli Manning, throwing for 355 yards and three scores highlighted by a 92-yard scoring pass to Tavarious Davis late in the fourth quarter to take a 38-34 lead. The Tigers closed it out with two Stephen Gostkowski field goals. Manning threw for four touchdown passed, but he also threw two costly interceptions. "
