I have just talked with the people at DMV and they report that there are now 2002 Virginia UNC license plates in the Commonwealth. They are going to give me comparative figures with the other 18 out of state schools in the next few days but they say we are near the top.

This is a long way from where we were less than 2 years ago which was none.

GO HEELS.

Is it true that you were one of the driving forces in making this happen?

I'm proud to say that I was and I have no complaint about the $1000 I spent on postage to publicize the plates to UNC alums and friends. I have 3 sets myself.
