I hate to go with what those intelligent and knowledgable espn guys say, but I'm going to have to go with the red sox. Pedro is the best AL pitcher, and Zito is pitching on 3 days rest, and I think this is his first time ever. Also the red sox are on a roll, after yesterdays comeback win, and finally the A's are very skilled at losing big postseason games
Pedro is the best Pithcer in baseball pithing on normal rest. Even if Zito is the second best he is only on 3 days rest and very few pitchers have ever pitched well on short rest in the playoffs. Add in the fact that the Redsox lineup is far superior to the A's and you have Boston going to the ALCS.
Go Red Sox just so there will be a Yankees- Red Sox ALCS.
the red sox are going to win, and then gut killed by the Yankees. The yankees are running on all cylinders right now.
if the redsox win, and everyone is already talking as if it is a sure thing, I'm not sure that the yankees would be able to just walk over the red sox, if they played I think the red sox would definitely win at least 2 or 3 games, and I think they have a legitimate chance of winning the series
