I saw them at the senior dance last year (I was already graduated and a year removed from school, but was invited anyway). My parents saw them when they were in college, if that tells you anything about how long they'd been playing. We were all sorry to hear that Mr. Clark had passed away.

I am good friends with Monty Clark (Doug's son) and also Monty's son. I, like many Chapel Hillians and others, was very sad to hear of Doug Clark's death last month. I went to the memorial service and it sure was special. It showed me, that you don't have to be a superstar or millionare to have a successful life, it is the friends that you make and the people that you meet that are most important.

I'm very close with Doug's son, Montey. We go golfing a few dozen times each year and I've played on his summer leauge basketball team for 3 or 4 years now.
Hoops was technically on the team, too, but he just sat the bench!!! just playing hoops
