I didn't have a horse in this race but I do get tired of the f-bombs and language that is shown on TV. Seems like the camera people could be better of not showing it. But if you think the dookies are bad you would've been mortified hearing me today as I watched Wake lose to state. Like a sailor I was a-cussin!

Speaking of F-Bombs, did anyone else notice that they really cut down on the closeups of K tonight? I can just about guarantee that ESPN's switchboard was lit up after the Duke/Tech game the other night from people calling about the filthy language that Chefsky was letting loose.
Why does everyone find it so surprising that people/players/coaches use language like this? Its nothing new.
Surprising? No, not at all. But I don't think most coaches are as foul mouthed in public/courtside as K. I just wish the cameras would be faster in switching from the shots of those that are less than polite with their language.

True, but that kind of filthy language doesn't belong on national TV like that, especially when you know millions of kids are watching. The players and coaches should set a better example than that.

Kids hear filthy language from a lot of places and it's not necessarily from television.

I heard it. That was just as bad as Redick, if not worse. It's nothing that I'm just slamming Duke about. I hate it was our fans chant "bull****" or one of our players drop an F-Bomb as much as when any other team does it. It just sets a bad example IMO.

Agreed. Although I have to say that when I've played in very close games where passion/intensity can take, common sense such as checking your language can easily be the last thing on your mind. Its bad, but sometimes you aren't always thinking about it.
