Detroit shutout Nashville 2-0 to win the series 4-2. Nashville had just 1 goal in the last two games of the series. I believe Nashville only had 14 shots on goal and no odd-man rushes in game 6. The Red Wings dominated from the beginning and led 2-0 in the first 3 minutes of the game. They coasted to the victory from there.

Up next will either be Calgary or Colorado (Yikes!). If Calgary beats Vancouver it will be the Flames in round 2. Calgary leads the series 3-2 right now so it could be them. Avoiding Colorado at this point would be nice too. The Avalanche look awfully tough right now.
Nashville had no shot in this game from the opening faceoff. Constant offensive pressure made the job nice and easy for CuJo.

I was in Nashville after they won games three and four, and even though they lost the series, they have incredible fans that have a great passion for that team. Winning two against Detroit is pretty damn good for your first postseason appearance, so props to them. 04-bow

Excellent question!

I can't decide which team I want to see the Wings play. As much as I hate the Aves, nobody makes for a better series that Detroit and Colorado.
