I agree, the Big D helmet is very cool. I also like the 97-00 Maryland helmet.

Love the way the WF stands out...
I've made the point several times over on The Tar Pit. I think the current "WF" logo looks like a high school team's. They need some kind of trim around it to "make it stand out" -- as you said.

They are leaving out the cursive WF on Wake's helmets that were worn during Al Groh's years and the first couple of Bill Dooley's, roughly 1981-1991. Pretty sharp helmets, too.

What were they thinking in '76? Was that a bicentennial patriot thing? I do remember the helmets were ugly then!
Thanks, JD. Great site! My only problem is their spelling of "Demon". And, they left out the helmet from our '92 squad that won the Independence Bowl. They had the numbers on them a la Alabama.
