Since the Coaches poll came out yesterday, it looks like October 11th will be a big day in college football, on that day you have
1 Miami vs 4 Florida State
2 Texas vs 3 Oklahoma
5 Tennessee vs 11 Georgia
As long as neither of those teams lose before Oct 11th that is how the teams will be ranked on that day. #1 Miami plays at #7 Florida the second week of the season, and also Florida has a very good game on the 11th playing LSU, which right now would be considered #7 Florida vs #13 LSU, but again Miami and Florida play the second week, but any way you look at it, that is going to be a great weekend for college football, as long as the top 5 stay unbeaten until then because there is alot of football to play before that day.

September 14 will be putting a damper on that day!
Mark it down! Georgia will already have at least one loss by then (SC, and maybe Clemson), so it won't be a great showdown as far as rankings are concerned.
Just remeber you said maybe Clemson!
anyway you look at it, you still have the 4 top teams in the country playing against each other, AS LONG AS, they stay UNDEFEATED up until that time, I just added in Tennessee and Georgia, mostly because Tennessee is at #5. Its not like every Saturday you have the top 4 teams playing each other. September 14th isnt a big day, compared to the 11th of October, just because you THINK Maryland will beat the Noles. Like I said if all 4 teams are unbeaten by the 11th then you are definetly getting an early shakeup in the National Championship picture

Maryland 2002 ACC Champs...
FSU and Florida had a combined total of 108-54 against the ACC champs, and to think neither team was the best in the state of Florida last year. I can guarantee Maryland will not be ACC champs this year.
