No surprise, Arizona takes Fitzgerald.
Giants next.
Giants next.

Giants need to take Taylor, IMO.

It looks like N.Y. might draft Rivers and trade him to the Chargers for Manning. We'll see...

Yep, they just took Rivers. Watch, they'll trade him to the Chargers for Manning.

accorsi is a moron!
he gave up rivers, 2004 3rd rd pick, and the 2005 1st and 3rd rd. picks.
Eli manning better be the next dan marino, or i'm gonna call for accorsi's head

Steelers took QB Ben Roethlisberger. At the 11th pick, this really is a steal for Pittsburgh. He is just as talented as Rivers and Manning and Pittsburgh doesn't have to pay him as much since he was a #11.

flyingswoosh, the Giants gave up Rivers and a third rounder this year and a 1st and 5th next year. You're right though, Accorsi gave up too much to get him. Give the Chargers credit though they held out and got what they wanted.

Wow, the Texans wanted Jason Babin BAAAAD.

The Giants had a shot at Troupe, but they made the right move by going after an o-lineman. What surprises me is that they drafted Chris Snee who was projected as a third to early fourth rounder over Justin Smiley a solid second rounder. Either way we got the best QB in the draft and a solid offensive lineman, if we can pick up a late round steal at LB we will be alright.

In an obvious assessment of two of the best college football programs, two major records were broken.
Six Miami Hurricanes were drafted in the first round.
Fourteen Buckeyes were drafted overall, including their entire offensive and defensive lines. It would have been 15 had Clarett stayed in the draft.

As far as the Texans go, I like them getting Robinson, he will slide in at the nickel for a couple years then move outside.
The Texans gave up a lot for Babin, but I like him in the Texans three-four defense and he will start right away. I was just wondering if they could have still gotten him in round 2 and not given up as much.
