Which team, in your unbiased opinion, will have the best defense in 2002? It's not necessarily the team with the best one player...just the best overall team (you can base it on projected pts or yds allowed, most sacks, most team speed, or whatever you want.)
I'll gladly stack up the Georgia Tech defense to the FSU defense.

Linebackers: GT
(GT has quite possibly the best LB unit in the nation)
D-Line: GT
Safeties: GT
CB: FSU
Duke has GREAT LBs.

The rest, is well, um..., err... terrible...

I just found a new sig!
That quote is quite misleading, FYI.
"Best ACC defensive unit?"

If you vote Wake Forest, Duke, or Virginia - you should be shocked via cattleprod.
I put FSU for now, they just have way too much talent, but I have a feeling Clemson will be up there by the end of the season. I know, I know, our defense didn't do much last season but it's a new season and I think the Tiger D will SUPRISE A LOT of people.

Clemson 27
Georgia 24

Clemson starts a new 3 point tradition with Georgia. Sorry GT.
What have we been known for in the past? - it's our D! It should be back this year.

Even though it was against a Div. I-AA cupcake, NC State allowed only 81 yards in their 34-0 win over E. Tenn. St. Saturday. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

I still say Tech will lead the ACC in total defense this season.
The results look like this so far:

</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">code:</font><hr /><pre style="font-size:x-small; font-family: monospace;">
Tech 38% (6)
FSU 38% (6)
Duke 6% (1)
Clemson 6% (1)
Wake 6% (1)
Maryland 6% (1)
Carolina 0% (0)
State 0% (0)
Virginia 0% (0)
