Horacio Ramirez is 9th in the NL with a 2.43 ERA...and has an 0-3 record to show for it. He's getting 1.7 runs of support per game (much like Maddux used to).

Just as Russ Ortiz gets his act together, Mike Hampton continues to slide. 7 runs allowed in 6+ innings today bumped his ERA up to 7.67 to go with his 0-3 record.

How about a starting lineup consisting of Wise, DeRosa, LaRoche, Estrada, Hessman, Hollins and Garcia? Have the times changed or what?!?

On the bright side, Johnny Estrada continues to bat .333 and Damon Hollins has looked very good in his short stay here.

We sorely need to get Chipper, Drew, Giles and Furcal back. You can't win with that lineup.

He's been a huge disappointment to me. I expected him to win 20 games this year and he's not going to even come close.
He did have a terrific start yesterday against Houston though. 2 hits and 2 runs, but Gryboski came in and allowed the go-ahead run. :bang:
Actually, I was talking about Hampton. He's looked even worse than he did in Colorado.
