Step 1) Set your BOINC preferences.

Step 2) Download BOINC.

Step 3) Install BOINC, and open it.

Step 4) After BOINC runs benchmarks, go to "Settings" then "Attach to Project"

Step 5) In the box, put in ( <a href='http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/' target='_blank'>http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/</a> ) for the URL, and then put in your Account ID (long string of random characters you got in your e-mail).

Step 6) BOINC will now get and process info based on your BOINC preferences. If at any time you update your preferences, right click on SETI@Home in the project page, and click Update.
