Yikes apparently that was a small one (low score). These things are huge. It's been running since yesterday at about 5:30. Of course I've only allotted 50% of my chip.

If you set it for "idle" priority, and request all the way up to 100% cpu ... it will only use cpu resources you do not. Unlike SETI@Home, it has a very low priority. Thus all OS's it runs on will cut off it's resources when others request it. This has the effect of using what you don't on the fly... varying as your cpu demand varies.

Yeah, I'm running both Seti and Folding at the same time. Folding won't run if Seti is running and Folding is in idle mode. You have to set the priority to low. Then I just set it to 50% for the heck of it, so I know they are getting equal time.

It appears to still vary on the fly. I'm running other programs no problem. The task manager shows it vary between 0 and 50 depending on what I'm doing. When I'm idle it maxes out at 50%. That way I know Seti's not hogging the cycles, and neither is folding.
Its saying it cant get work instructions. 03-confused

You using a ghetto firewall? (I.E. - XP's default firewall)
