Folding@Home likely to introduce BOINC client, allowing computers to split computation time with ClimatePredictor.net (predicts global client), SETI@Home (search for ET), Einstein@Home (filling in gaps in theory of relativity), and other projects. Users would download only one client which would run under IDLE PRIORITY like the current Folding client... the one client would donate computer power however the user likes, to whatever projects the user wants, and can even have "computational bias" and put more emphasis on certain projects than others.
It is likely this won't happen for some time longer... but not too much longer... maybe a few months.
