I use Firefox and Yahoo mail as my primary email box.

Problem is that any emails composed in Firefox cannot use the rich text features that Yahoo offers. Is this a Yahoo/Firefox compatibility issue or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks.
Are you talking about Yahoo smilies and such?
No, talking about bold, italics, etc.

Also, the text is different than when using IE/Yahoo. It's smaller.

Hold Ctrl then hit + ... it'll make the text bigger. Ctrl - will make it smaller again.

As for the italics... bold... and whatnot... could be b/c Yahoo uses an ActiveX control to make that work... which is an insecure load of crap.

See if simple html will work
< b > (text here) < /b >
< i > (text here) < /i>

(no spaces b/t the < and >)

I'm sure it's a little assanine to bump an old thread, but just in case anybody has this issue later...

There is an extension that handles the html tags (bold, color, text size, etc): <a href='https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=389' target='_blank'>Colors and Graphics</a>
