Alright rules here are simple. When you see a new movie review it for us and tell us what you think.
For me I just saw Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire this weekend. I can tell you this that is a very good movie. Definitely a must see. The movie is definitely alot darker than the others. This movie is definitely not a happy movie by any stretch of the imagination. However overall I gotta say the movie was an A. Definitely a good movie to go to. However this is most certainly not a movie for kids anymore.
Walk the Line
it was a good movie. focused on Cash's demons. He did a pretty decent imitation when singing. Reese Witherspoon nailed June's voice (granted only time I heard her is duets with Johnny). I belive that non-fans would enjoy it. Johnny Cash is truely a musical icon

WORD!!
HP: Goblet of Fire was good.
Lots of teen romantic humor. Good fight scenes and effects. Valdimort is bad aZZ. Not willing to say its hte best one yet but its a solid entry( I like Chamber of Secrets best still).
I think the "kid" element of HP is going to vary with teh age of the actors in it. THey started these movies @ 11 or 10 and now they are 15-16 I beleive..so the older they get...the older the tones will get.
Just saw Kingdom of Heaven, I know it's not a new theatrical release, but..... I liked it. I've always enjoyed Ridley Scott's work. It was kind of confusing at times, but pretty sweet nonetheless. Better epic movie than Troy or Alexander (why would Oliver Stone direct such a dibacle?), but no Gladiator.

IT was a good movie but it felt long and was long. I think Troy was better. Galdiator still the best!!!. AS for Alexander.....the whole over homosexualized theme of the movie really turned me off. And even after that it was still crap.
Just saw Yours, Mine and Ours
It was cute and funny. I liked it. I honestly don't know how many of the guys on here would enjoy seeing it though, definitely had chick flic written all over it. But it was cute. I give it an A. It's a happy feel good movie w/a love story and a story of kids learning to come together for their parents sake. As my sister and I correctly predicted from the previews it's Cheaper by the Dozen meets the Brady Bunch.
The Forgotten
First I will tell you this is a scifi movie but a different type of scifi. It is more a scifi mystery. That being said I really enjoyed this movie because it was more mystery than scfi. The idea is unique in this movie. I liked the idea however in my opinion the move was too short and more story development could have been done in it. However still I reccomend see this movie because it is still ok. I would give this movie a solid B.
Anyone seen Mr and Mrs Smith? I heard it was good and will rent it Tuesday but .....
Also..same on Stealth...I thought it looked good but reviews were real harsh...how bad was it?
Just saw War of the Worlds. I was really into this flick until it ended. I guess the aliens got sick from an earthly virus, but how did that cause their machines' defensive shield to go down? Seemed too short. Tom Cruise was great as usual. Actually this might have been his best performance, outside of The Last Samuri.
I think of it as, they controlled the shields-when they got sick, they were too sick to press the button for the shields. in the oringal WOTW, a virus is what kilt them. I loved that movie-saw it at midnight opening

No love for Cruise in Rainman, Top Gun, Born on the Fourht of July, THe Firm, or Minority Report? I wouls say the Mission Impossibles too but not sure if that could hold water w/ some folks.

I thought he was good in the Firm, Top Gun, and Rainman. But there's something about his acting in Born on the Fourth of July that I didn't like. It was a great movie (Willem Dafoe was fantastic as usual) though.
Anyone seen Mr and Mrs Smith? I heard it was good and will rent it Tuesday but .....
Also..same on Stealth...I thought it looked good but reviews were real harsh...how bad was it?
Saw Mr and Mrs Smith. It was alright, but entirely predictable. I don't hate happy endings, but I love unexpected endings.
OK so I rented THe Big Lebowski, Cape Fear, Mr and Mrs Smith, and 8MM 2.
I have never seen any of these.
Watched 8mm 2.
OK
I really liked the first one! Nic Cage et. all..... murder mystery w/ a weird video tape to lead on what hte guys past was like and whoi would want him dead which lead Cage in to the world of underground porn and snuf films.
2nd is nothing like the first. Its basically set up as a political black mail scandall involving a senators daugheer, her soon to be senator (but now DA) husband, and hte video taping of a threesome they had at some hotel. Basically they get blackmailed about the existance of hte tape. They delve into the world of p* for hire and "F* films to locate the girl that was the 1/3 of hte threesome. All I can say is the end is F'd up. But my lips are sealed. It is a pretty good erotic thriller however.
Mr and Mrs Smith JMO
I thought it was good move...predictable yeah..but loved the way the hidden asassin stuff in the house/alternate jobs they had/ playful sexual & husband & wife type banter they had in it. Action scenes were pretty top notch. Pretty good rental.

Aeon Flux review:
FIRST LET ME STATE:
I remember hte cartoon from MTV's liquid television and then the full length episodes but not in full on remember mode..... all I remember is hte hot chick w/ infinte amo killing everything in sight w/ some twisted sexual tension and the main dude Trevor Goodchild. Thats it.
SO my only 3 quips would be at this time:
1)WHile Charlize's outfit is HOT...its not as HOT as original and IMO could have been skimpier.
2) NOT ENOUGH guns and amo shootemups.
3) Not ENOUGH sexual tension.
No as far as the plot goes and keeping in mind I don't remember what hte show got into...I won't divulge anything I think is a spoiler.
Basically the earth had a disease wipe out 98% of hte population. THe remaings 2% made a walled city that in which a man names Trevor Goodchild rules. Trevor developed a vacine to cure the disease and the city wall keeps it from infecting populace again. THE CATCH: It harms reproductivity of the people. Trevor would like solve this problem and "almost" has....his brother Orin however doesn't want him to succeed. IN the meantime Aeon is the best of the best of a resistance movement called the Monocha(sp?) and she is sent to kill Trevor (doesn't at that time know about reproductie issues he is trying to solve). When they meet some weird stuff gets revealed and then you get into the crux of the movie... at this time since its so new I won't say more.
It is worth a Matine IMO...full price would depend on your affinity/remembrance of the cartoon.
DVD reviews
Dukes of Hazard: Unrated.
ehhhh all they added was some titty scenes when they went the university in Atlanta to get the core sample. See my old review of hte movie in the Lounge.
Fantastic 4
DVD spekaing the special features on the disc SUCK!!! Totally underdone for a super hero movie. See my movie review in the lounge.
Batman: The Animated Series Vol 4.
If you like the series this is a must have. The whole series is pretty good and dark in nature. Closer to Batman Begins in tone than the other 4 movies in the series. Mark Hamil as Joker is super maniacal.
Old movie I know but I just got finished watching Poltergeist!!!
Pretty good..... and as not to tell a spoiler.... that info given to Cragi T Nelson's charchter about his plot of land just changed my perception of hte whole movie.
Dukes of Hazard
decent. tried to convert the show's charaters to 2000's. biggest problems: Daisy aint blonde and Boss Hogg is short and fat!!
YeeHaw!
Also NEW Rosco P Coltraine had NONE of the OLD Roscoe's mannerisms.
Have to agree on the Boss Hogg thought.... old Boss Hogg was nasty evil.... new one is more sleazy evil.

It was a good flick, but if Brad and Angelina went down in a hail of bullets in the final shootout, I'd nominate best action sequence of the year. Very Shakespearean it would be.
Anybody see Chronicles of Narnia? I can't wait to see it.

WORD
Anybody see Chronicles of Narnia? I can't wait to see it.
GOING @ 4pm today.... the 1pm was sold out.
Stadium Seats and DTS

Saw Cinderella Man. Was excellent. 'Twas some cheesy inspirational scenes, the acting was superb. Crowe was fantastic as was Paul Giamatti (Bart's boy). Didn't care much for Rene Zellwigger. Whoever played Max Baer was a bada$$. Great story, Ron Howard, you've done it again.
FTR I liked Narnia..hard for me to give a review when it biased over the memories I have of hte book being read to me in 4th grade.
High grade FX fantasy movie.
********************************************
King Kong 1933 Version:
I liked it! FX were pretty good considering when it got made. I really like the gung-ho at all costs motives of the movie guy. Fay Wraye (sp?) was a hottie, even in 1933.
The Island:
Its pretty good. Basically a sci-fi plot involving cloning rich people who can afford it be done to to basically farm replacement parts for that person when they get sick or injured. People at the clone colony get wise and break out. HTe found of hte colony hires a hit team to take the two escapees out before they meet up with their real life clones. Basically the first 30 minutes or so is slow and builds up to the breka out ..then the rest of the movie is a long chase scene w/ a few breaks to get in some dialougue.
Pretty good as an action flick but don't expect any high drama.
Rented American Psycho and An American Werewolf in London.
saw Aeon Flux
I didnt watch the cartoon. it was kinda confusing, dont know if seeing the the show would help any, but it was good. matrix-esque fight scenes. and Theron was freakin hot.
I would recommend it.
American Psycho:
Interesting serial killer movie. Basically, and as not to spoil it, it involves the slick 80's Wall Street types and their doings..... and killings. About as twisted as A Clockwork Orange IMO.
An American Werewolf in London:
Average werewolf flick but the wolves are a lot scarier. Pretty cool horror flick. Reccomend it if you haven't seen it.

Anyone seen
The Producers or King Kong?
King Kong
I liked it.. much better then the Twin Towers one.
kept to the old 30's Kong pretty good. added subplot of the girl liking someone on the boat. 3 hours, worth it IMO. liked that they had Kong playing with dead monster's jaw-like he did in the old one
Dick And Jane
funny! I love Jim Carry, and Tea Loni is hot. good job of bashing the Enron's of the world. makes me wanna start a robbing ring...
Saw the Brother's Grimm on my flight from New Zealand. I enjoyed it, but didn't like how the story ended. Great acting though. It was really good, but the way director Terry Gilliam ended the film sort of leaves with wanted more, or something else. I don't remember many fairy tales, so a lot of the movie didn't make much sense to me.
Another film I saw, and I'm sure you're gonna laugh at me, was In Good Company. I liked it. It's about a dude (Dennis Quaid) who's job is given to a younger dude (Topher Grace) and Quaid ends up working for him. Then Topher falls for Dennis' daughter, the super attractive Scarlett Johanson. The movie ends well, not the way most people would want (i.e. happy ending, guy gets girl sort of thing).
Over the last two weeks I have partaken of hte following:
NEW MOVIES:
Wedding Crashers:
Pretty funny but not as funny as the hype machine said when it came out in the theaters. Basically the plot is a follows Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughns chachters crash weddings to hook up with chicks. On their bigges crash yet things go awry and they end up going these girls parents house where things are not what they seem. The guys actually fall for hte girls and have a change of heart...
Good comedy/reccomend
Hustle & Flow
Loved the soundtrack--finally checked out the movie. Pretty darn good representing of a musician stuggling to make a hit and get out of his old circumstances. Basic plot is Djay, the pimp, has a epiphany to change his ways casue pimping ain't getting him nowhere. He hooks up w/ an old school buddy and they start their muiscal aspiriations. His "big break" will be hooking up with Ludacris' charchter Skinny Black to hand off a demo tape he made. Skinny Black is a local rappper that made it big and is coming back to to town for his annual party he throws. THei meetings doesn't go as Djay would have liked--buth the end of the movie is poetic jsutice.
Reccomend..its akin to the vibe of 8mile but set in Memphis instead of Detroit.
Red Eye:
Thriller flick from Wes Craven. Basically there is a big political converntion coming to town and someone wants to kill the important people. The inting part about this is how assasins go about it. To avoid some spoilers all I will say in involves an airplane and a hotel desk woorker.
IF you are in the mood fro a good thriller check it out. I liked how they set up hte whole movie.
Transporter 2:
I did review this when in came out in theaters. So to keep it short.... has better action scenes than the forst one but hte first one had a stronger plot device.
If you liked first you will more than likely enjoy this one.
OLDER MOVIES:
Judgement Night
I lovd the soundtrack ever since it came out in 1993. I belive it is my most favorite soundtrack of all time ( Top Gun, Friday, and Hustle & Flow being other faves). However the movie is total garbage. Basically these thesy guys head off in a "rented" tour bus to go to a boxing match but when traffic backup makes them leave the expressway for short cut they go into the PJs adn get into all kinds of trouble w/ the local gang.
I'd pas on this one.
Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust
THIS IS NOT THE ORIGINAL VAMPIRE HUNTER D!! That said I enjoyed this one more. More up to dat visually nad a better plot IMO. Basically D is a vmapire hunter who is half human half vampire but doesnt thirst blood as of yet. He is trying to stop this other vampire that has kidnapped a girl that he wants to marry. Youy find out that he hasn't bitten her b/c he loves her and they are on a quest to live together.
Reccomend it & IMO its better than the original.
Saw a couple movies the other day. One was Serpico, a 1973 crime drama based on a true story. Al Pacino plays detective Frank Serpico. He tries to rid the NYPD of corruption. Everyone knows Seprico isn't on the take and makes his life a living hell. Great flick.
I also saw I heart Huckabees. I thought this movie was fantastic. Though I'm gonna have to watch it again to find out what the hell it's about. I'm pretty sure I got the gist of it. Probably would have helped if I saw the first 28 minutes.

Wal Mart has Serpico in the $5.99 bin!!!! Got my copy.
Two movies I've seen recently:
Munich
Very good movie. It may be about twenty to thirty minutes too long. It is graphic and bloody at times, but it is still very good.
The Matador
I was kind of disappointed. It wasn't as funny as I thought it would be. I didn't think it had that much of a plot. It may actually have been too short.

Hold me a copy, just in case I visit Greenville in the coming years.
Rented Flight Plan
GOOD THRILLER. W/o revealing to much lets say Jodie Fosters charchter has some family issues and her husband dies. They are transporting her hsuband back to teh US from Germany. She takes her daughter along with her(or does she?). Well her daughter goes missing and then it gets in to the meat of the matter. All i cna say is they play all of the angles pretty well.....and all points they lead too are belivable.
CHECK IT OUT.
Rented Saw II.
Its OK..i felt the first one was more original. As to not give any plot away as it would kill watching it lets jsut say instead of the normal 1-2 people locked away to solve their puzzle like the first one this time you have 8 people locked in a sealed house and htey have to find their connection to get out.... all the while poisonous gas is coming in to kill them w/in the time limit.
A couple of actors stood out to me... Lead Cop Chick lookes exactly like the red head hot chick from Starship Troopers, Lead Male Cop is Donnie Whalberg, black dude in house is the black guy from Showgirls the befreinded Elizabthe berkley charchter so to speak, and the light skinned muscle dude is the guy that was the mechanic on the suped up Minis from THe Italian Job.
Youd probabbly like it if you liked the original... if never seen the original... you might like it.
Rented Natural Born Killers
That movies is a psychadelic violence movie. Not to the level of A Clockwork Orange but close. Its defaintely one of Stone's more intersting movies.
Rented Lord Of War:
Pretty good. IT tells the tale of a lowly russian immigrant to the US who ends up becoming one of the world top arms dealers. His brother is his parnter...wise wife never the wiser...and she is actually his dream girl. Cagfe becomes good freinds with hte Presidint of Liberia. Basicallly this movie is a take on arms dealing and the "moral dilema" of doing such....and if you don't like it the G7 countries are the biggest arms dealers in the world. Solid rental.... I'd reccomend checking it out.
***************************************
My brother bought Avatar the Last Air Bender.
Its the tale of a "ninja" that rules the world. Basically there are four elemental ninjas air, water, earth, and fire and each has their own abilities. The Fire Ninjas get uppity and start killing of the others...they kill all but one Air Bender (--term for hte ninjas) and it just so happens the is the Avatar OR the one who has mastered all the styles. Well that kid hides from everyone till he gets un frozen and starts remebering who he is. The new leader of hte Fire clan is out to get him....it gets more detailed but hte dvd is only the first 4 epsiodes. Its starts slow but builds nicley.... very well drawn.
I will be getting Up the Academy this week
ITs an early 80's flick about problem Teens who get sent to a military camp by their parents and what trouble they get into. Has an early Ralph Machio in it. I belive it would have been pre Karate Kid. It is quite funny and some stand out charchters.
Can anyone comment on the following:
THe Constant Gardner
Doom
Into the Blue
Cinderella Man
Exorcism of Emily Rose
or any others they find new and interesting?
Cinderella Man was good. Saw it on my flight to NZ. It's got the typical Russell Crowe character, likealbe underdog. It's got the typical down and out, defeating the odds, boxing story. Some people have called it inspirational. I don't. I liked the flick, but this subject has been beat to death. Boxer overcomes all the odds to return to glory ala Rocky, Hurricane.....
Watched THe COnstant Gardner tonight.
Pretty good thriller...... Best description would be MI2 +The Firm. Or, in other words the plot of kimera in MI2 with the cloak and dagger of The Firm...politically spekaing.
Its is kind of slow moving...I would have enjoyed it more with more action/movement in the movie. I liked all the twists and how far up the conspiracy goes.
Good rental IMO.... buy ehhhh ....needs more action to be buyable.
Saw Annapolis.
Decent movie, BUT NOT AN ACCURATE REPRESENTATION OF THE ACADEMY. They actually did this movie without the blessing of the Navy and it shows. Almost like an opposite version of Million Dollar Baby. Instead of old guy teaching young girl, its young girls teaches young guy boxing. Plot has almost nothing to do with the Academy, and is practically just about boxing with some relationship stuff thrown in there.
Saw this documentary on the Sundance channel the other day called Dig! It was about these two totally sweet bands, the Dandy Warhols and the Brian Jonestown Massacre. Both bands used to be cool. The doc. is about the seperate paths the bands took and the aftermath. Brain Jonestown signed to the biggest indie label TVT, while the Warhols didn't land a major deal. Eventually the Warhols blew up in Europe, while Brian Jonestown succumb to the ills of stardom. Quite a provocative trip in the lives of two rock bands.
Casablanca
Yeah the old one. Not that is a bad movie but I can't see why people liek it so much. Yeah its got two emeorable lines 'her's looking at you kid" and "play it again Sam" but not much else IMO..I am still nto sure waht he hell the plot was about.
I'd pass
40yr old virgin
OK...after SO MANY people tell me thsi movies was super funny I go rent it. I found it severly UNfunny. It had its moments but I found the salespeople humor to be the best part. Basically Steve Carrells charchter is a 40 yr old virgin and his freinds rag him then give all this "bad" advice on how to fix his problem..comedy ensues.
I didn't like it..I'd reccomend Anchorman
Speaking of the Frat Pack, I saw Wedding Crashers yesterday. All I heard, was funny this movie was. I thought it was ok. Some humor, wish Will Ferrell would have been utilized more. Thought the love story between Owen Wilson (what a head of hair on that guy) and Rachael McAdams was touching. Vince Vaughn was pretty funny though. Not as good as I expected, but decent nonetheless. Also thought that that weird little brother could have been funnier.
This one maybe a little out there, but I certainly enjoyed it...
The movie is called "My Big Fat Independent Movie". And it's just that, an independent movie. Only, it makes fun of tons of independent movies. I'm talking like 30-40 movies easy. I had a chance to watch it at the SideWalk Film Festival here in Birmingham and must say it was histerical. I also got the chance to interview Chris Gore, the write/producer of the film (
linkage to interview). The only real reason I bring this up is because I (like last night) got my copy of it in the mail. Chris and Philip did a great job on the commentary. I was really impressed. Anyone one else see it yet?
THEATER MOVIE:
Went and saw Running Scared tongiht.
Its definatley Paul Walker's most hardest film yet. A lot of brutal violence ( both gun wise and beat down wise) and some pretty on edgey sex stuff. Teh base plot as far as I could make out is a cop raid on a Russian mafia crib goes bad and teh cops die..to protect who did waht they want to hide the murder weapon. THey enlist Paul's charchter to take care of that propblem....he does but his neighbors kid( whose dad happens to also be in the russian mafia or at leasttied to it) steasl the gun out of its hiding place and uses it shoot his dad casue his dad is abusive. Wel lthe gun goes misisng and the kid runs off.... from then on out its a find the kid and the gun before the cops or the ruskies do cause bad things will happen either way.
IF you want something disturbing I'd say check it out on the matine tip...its not quite a full pricer IMO.
BOUGHT DVD
Up the Academy
First of all I caught this movie when USA had USA UP All Night and I loved it!! It is a B movie though.
Basically the plot is a a group of mishcevious youths get sent to Military School to get set straight and each has some excentric parents. The story centers around on kid thought..Oliver. Oliver has to stay away from his girlfriend so he doesn't get her preagnant and ruin his fathers elction chances. Well the group does eend up getting busted for breaking rules..however htey blackmail the stringent Teacher to not rat them out..and to see who gets to do what they play for all the marbles at the end of year socccer game. Good fun all around.
I am getting the following on DVD this week ( 3/21)
Sout Park Season 7
--Its south park..that about sums it up!!

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig Vol 4
--Ghost in the Shell was a very popular Anime film. This dvd is the tv version of hte movie and more specifically the 4th volume of hte second season. This dvd is ideal for anyone who has seen the original movie OR would like a lot of plot, action, and spy stuff in a matrix themed typoe world.
Movie Theatre:
Inside Man
--Denzel Washington, Jodie Foster, Clive Owen, Willem Dafoe, and a few otehr notables.
Basically a bank robbery thriller w/ a twist. The movie goes as follows CLive Owen and his crew rob a bank and take hostages. Denzel is called in to be the Negotiator for the police. They go through the banter of negotiations. Then Jodei Foster is called by the banks owner to step in...apparently she is somekind of "handler". Her cahrachter gives a new angle on how the action is transpiring. At the end you find out the what's what of hte whole movie.
Pretty good IMO, worth full price.
A History of Violence:(rented dvd)
A good movie.... but it doesn't "end." Good rental IMO. Basic plot: Guy in small town w/ the whole wife and kid bit becomes a local hero for capping some unruly types in his restaruant. Well all the attention the media gives him pull some freinds out of the woodwork. After this I'd get into spoilers as far as the plot goes. Pretty good action and fight scenes--defaintely one Viggo's better recent movies.
King Kong (2005): (borrowed dvd)
Its not that its bad and it could also be case of running on low caffine but this movie put me to sleep. I much prefered the old 1930's one. Yeah the effects are great and yeah its pretty accurate remake but overall I just found it lacking.
Robot Chicken: ( Bought dvd)
IF you don't already know its show on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim time block of shows. THe show is basically stop motion/claymation of celebrities, people, and toys in various comedic situations. THis is a great dvd--will keep you laughing for hours. I find the better skits are of old toys and their hijinks. Defiante buy worthy.
Chronicles of Narnia; (rented dvd)
This movie tries to be Harry Potter + Lord of the Rings and it doesn't quite hit either. And honestly form what I remember of hte book being read to me in the 4th grade I have fonder memories of the book. Basic plot is thes kids, due to war time, get sent to some old dudes house. IN said house they find a magical wardrobe that transports them to Narnia. IN Narnia they find out they are the keys to overthrowing this bad aZZ White Witch. Good solid rental, but I personally don't think its a buyable one.
Vampire Hunter D ( original)( rented dvd) (ainme)
Well I still hate this movie. I rented it again just to be sure...it just puts me to sleep. Basically D is a Vampire hunter that is half vampire half human. This girl hires him to kill this dracula dude. Well he goes out to perfrom teh task... I much preferred the sequll called bloodlust. As an anime fan I'd pass on this one.
Blood: The Last Vampire (rented dvd)
From the producers of Ghost in the Shell!! Too bad this isn't as good. Basically this young girl is Vampire hunter and they hint at the fact that she might be the last Vampire herself-- but anywhoo she gets assigned to kill off these demons which she does. HTe animation and action are great but the lack of closing off the story really makes the movie not that good. I'd reccomend a pass on this as well.
I watched History of Violence last night. The gore and violence was pretty cool but overall I thought the movie was pretty lame. I thought it took way too long to develop, even the initial "hero" scene seemed like it took forever to happen. The ending totally sucked also. The bloody scenes were really good, there just wasnt enough of them for me I guess.
Has anyone seen lucky number slevin?
A girl at work said it was really good, we generally share taste in movies but I saw it got some pretty mediocre reviews. Just wanted to know what anyone who has seen it thought.
I echo your sentiments regarding Narnia Treasure. From what I remember how I felt after reading the books, that feeling was better than the feeling that I got after wathcing the movie. I mean it wasn't horrible by any stretch, it seemed to be missing something, like an extra couple pieces of flair. I mean if the minimum is all the wanted, that's fine, but I would have preferred to see more. That kid being thrust into the head of an army that quickly irritated me beyond belief.
I saw "Something the Lord Made," today. Stars Mos Def and Alan Rickman. True story of a lab technician (Mos) and a doctor (Rickman) at Johns Hopkins hospital in the 40's and 50's. They help cure infants stricken with "blue baby" syndrome. Their work was the inspiration behind the cardiac procedures done today. Pretty compelling movie. Mos' character wasn't a real doctor, but because of his work, he was given an honorary doctorate from Johns Hopkins. The movie dealt with Mos' characters race and how he had to overcome the sterotypes.
