I am talking to some of my friends about setting up a website for us about this. Any thoughts\ideas would be welcome.

I was going to do this, but want to get the site up and running before hand so she will have something to look at and show that we are being proactive and not waiting for approval or permission for anything to get started

So you're saying we should follow your advice concerning an on campus stadium because you have experience in architecture and know it can work, but you won't allow me the same concession regarding an Online Ticket Exchange and other marketing programs despite my BBA in Marketing, MBA in Management Information Systems, and background in Marketing (specifically database marketing)? I see.

nope, i'm not going to play that game with you
DONE! i just sent my email....

Dr. Raines,
Let me start off by saying that I am currently a student at the
University of Memphis, a member of the Blue Crew and i LOVE it here. I
believe in your positive attitude and your vision for the future.

I know that you and RC do not know the details of the situation
involving the future home of Tiger football. However, I URGE you, as an
avid student, fan, and future alumni, to seriously and strongly study
the feasibility of building an on campus football facility. If you draw
up a feasible, tangible plan for it, I think that the support will be there.

It excites me (and im sure thousands of others) to think of the
possibility of student attendance increasing, moving the University of
Memphis forward, the University getting the revenue from the games, and
having reasons to come back to campus 7 times per year after i graduate!
I am sure all the other alumni would feel much more connected to the
university as well. Most of all, it excites me to think of the
University of Memphis, having a national-scale football stadium, that it
can call HOME.

Once again, i believe in your vision and leadership. Thanks for your time.

GO TIGERS
Justin Young

It's not a game. This thread had no chance to go anywhere because the bostontiger haters woud've hijacked it anyway. I didn't interfere with your other threads on the issue because I agree with the idea of an on campus stadium and defer to your knowledge of architecture on the technical aspects.

You got my point.
What's wrong with an online ticket exchange?

Nothing. It'd be great. However, whenever I bring it up jeb poo-poos it. Forget that's what my education & experience are in. He just knows it wouldn't work.

But talk about drawing pictures of $75 million stadiums and he's on it like stink on sh!t.

To paraphrase a quote from the man himself: Mr. Jeb seems to have his head stuck in the sand.

Rise over run. Rise over run.
Quote:Rise over run. Rise over run.

It looks like Mississippi has one.
