Ole Miss actually got a couple of good crowds during the freedie nights -- their 2 highest attendance numbers this season.

These 2 have bumped their average attendance up to 2,659.125 from 2,354.167.
Now, after 8 home games, the Rebs are closing in on 25% of our total attendance after 7 home games.

Hey when you guys actually own your own stadium and basketball facilities we might talk about stuff like that....But, while you are renting from the city and getting handouts from the grizzlies you really have no room to talk. What you might think about doing is having your football games at FedEx forum so you can actually see what a full football crowd looks like witout TN or OM filling up the stadium for you.

What does owning your stadium have to do with anything? USC doesn't own the LA Coliseum, does that mean we need to take away their national titles? What about Miami?
i can't remember the last time the rebels helped us sell out the Liberty Bowl.
And Please don't even put yourself in the same class as UT as far as support.
PS - our basketball practice faciltity is nicer than the Tad Pad.

That's priceless you moron. First things first, NO old mrs game at the LB has sold out in YEARS. So don't say you're drawing big numbers when you come up here. In fact, some of the largest numbers you get in that piece of crap stadium you've got is when Memphis plays. Check the numbers, you'll see that.
Owning our own building is something we'd like. But the fact of the matter is that since we don't get the charity check from our conference like you do it makes it difficult.
old mrs is like the little kid who has a popular big brother. You enjoy all of the benefits of that relationship but really haven't done anything on your own to warrant any respect from the community (college football). Most of the big boys laugh at you when your fans bow up like they are something. It is amusing. You are and will always be nothing more than a leech on the $ec's @$$.
As we've said, give us the same charity check and we will surpass you within 48 months.
What is funny is that you actually believe you're a football school. As one old mrs fan put it at the recent basketball game, "We're a baseball school at best or a women's volleyball school." Now that is a old mrs fan who realizes their place.
Now let me guess, you'll start on all the routine crap that you always spew when this comes up. Some of that may be correct but the fact of the matter is that we know what we are and what we want to become. We aren't living in a delusional state about our status.

Stupid Ole Piss fans are always trying to get on us about raising ticket prices for them. All this nonsense about owning your own stadium and filling it are all about conference affiliation; not because Ole Piss actually matters.
If we were in the $EC, Ole Piss would immediately become one of our least attractive games. At least 6 other $EC teams would be a better draw. We would probably discount prices if we had to force our fans to watch a bottom feeding $EC laughingstock program like Ole Piss after games against Florida, LSU, UT, Bammer, Georgia, Auburn, etc.
With the opposite being true, we still manage to be a major rivalry opponent when we visit them. This is hilarious, because if we were in the $EC, we would think about Ole Piss as much as we think about the turd spinning in our toilet from 3 days ago.

How's that baseball stadium the city helped you build doing? Handouts from the Grizzlies?? When was the last time you had a sellout in fb? I would ask about bb too, but that would be too funny. OM filling our stadium?? that's a joke! You own both vh and the sad pad( two sorry as venues to play major college sports in, although I realize bb is not a major sport at old myth) and you can't fill either up and you are in a bcs conference, although you are the sec's designated whore, simply there to service the other members.

Correction. Ours is a nationally ranked basketball school. Out of 336 Division 1 schools, ours is in the top 25.

A school that is good at is good at baseball. Baseball is a game where a guy throws a ball over a object called the plate which is the scoring point. A player on the opposing team stands at the plate and swings a object (in college it is made of aluminum) to hit the ball. There are players in the field who try and get the guy that swings the "bat" out, which basically means that they tag him or "force" him out.
