Chatt, I don't think that there is a double standard at all. I just think some folks that would normally complain about singleing out a player on a public board were in shell shock status......I know I was.

seems to me that you're kinda bent out of shape because of the loss tonight.... well.. you're not alone... however, it wasn't i that created the MARBLE HEAD name calling... i don't think whomever started it meant it in any type of hostile way, i do recall some type of sticky earlier this year and in it was a subject about the name calling on the board...
i've seen more people be called an idiot since that "STICKY" was posted and i know all has not been overlooked.... at any rate.... my only thing is if you're going to ask/wish for people not to call each other names then make it clear across the board... IMO, this has nothing to do with tearing anything apart.

I have a 17 yr. old son who plays high school football. He beat every kid on his team in the 200 yd. dash (He never ran track) which includes kids that run 4.3 and 4.4 forties. He never went out for the team until his senior year because he had transferred from a private school for the arts (He's a magnificent Viola player).
He had no clue even how to play football when he went out for the team but he made it through two cuts anyway at a high school of three thousand students. Although he wasn't a starter (Coach said he'd never be able to learn the playbook against kids who'd been with the program since they were freshmans) was still considered the second best DB on the team which went 8-1 during the regular season. He never missed a practice. fought his guts out and helped his team to the state playoffs.
O.K. so what's my point. Well here it is. The odds of him making that team were close to impossible and yet he never gave up and made it anyway. I've never been more proud of him. Then I see this overgrown bahemath of a child (man) in Joey Dorsey that has all the abilities in the world that we all could only dream of and see him piss it all away and it makes me sick. Now I'm not sure how old Joey the Idiot is but I'm pretty sure he's older than my own kid and I wouldn't bet for a moment that he has anywhere near the heart and soul (and maturity) my 17 yr. old kid has. If my son (Joey) had his body and Joey Dorsey had his heart and brains he'd be an all-american. Dorsey just needs to grow up and realize his ABILITY and quit doing his best to be a li-ABILITY to this team. And yes I totally believe he was by far the biggest reason we lost this game tonight. And yes I think he will be the reason we will probably lose quite a few more unless he can get his SH%^ together.
