how is the scalping market around the thrillerdome for acc games?
I've never paid more than face for tickets from scalpers at the ThrillerDome. That being said, I had a discussion yesterday with a GT alum coworker about the bandwagon Tech hoops fans. The ThrillerDome is empty when Tech is playing bad, it is full/SRO when they start playing well. Season ticket sales have been down...I don't know if the 6-0 start will encourage fans to buy them as Christmas presents. If the Jackets continue on the clip they have through their first 6 games, tickets will definitely be less available & they may creep above face. If that is the case, this may be the first year since Cremins that you can't get single game tickets from the ticket office. :frown:
According to the recording I got when I called the Tech ticket office yesterday, today's Tenn St game is sold out. Also, ALL season tickets have now been sold, including the mini-packages.
Usually, there are plenty of people outside the Thrillerdome scalping tickets. I was able to get a ticket to the sold out Clemson game for $10 last year without any problems.

shouldn't be that bad. They are normally a lot by gate 1 about 10 min. before the game.
I'll be there. Last year was fun...I'm hoping for the same result
decided to go in a working capacity, will be in pres row, section 2, won't be able to cheer though, but get to go for free, it's a tradeoff
