This is not walking. Lofton doesn't have possesion in the first picture. He does in the second picture, but his feet are still in the air. Third picture, labeled #2 is actually the first step. The fourth picture, labeled #3, is his second step. The fifth picture, labeled #3.5, is Lofton pivoting. The sixth picture, labeled #4, is Lofton continuing his pivot and shooting.

I'm no Vols fan, but that is not walking. I watched the end of the game, thought it was walking at the time, but the replays convinced me that it wasn't.

Muchado about nothing.
not walking

Congrats, Derby. You now qualify as one of Stammers' Vol Orange Lovers, like me. Say anything remotely positive about them and you therefore are marked as having "no clue," as he would say. ;-)
He took three steps with the ball, which I believe is travelling.

I would hardly qualify saying way to go UT, that you're happy for them; and posting times when Sweathog is going to be on tv as remotely positive. Then again, you're completely clueless, you don't remember most of what you say.

Dream on if you think that Derby could ever be compared to you in any shape or form.

Thanks, I think? ;-) lmfao

Still no walking, but I wish it were; and if it was, I wish it had been called.
I think that should satisfy anyone possibly thinking that I might have an ounce of orange in my blood.
He actually took 4 steps. He set his pivot foot, moved his right foot after it was set, and then slid his pivot foot to get his feet squared up.
Similar to the Sparks three a few years ago?

I said that to my wife before I even saw the replay. He did the same thing. Both of them suffled their feet to give them space to attempt a shot....except Lofton took to full step AND suffled his feet.

Exactly what I was thinking!!!!!

Sparks had those little feet moving before he pumped the ball and jumped into the Louiseville Players that were trying to block his shot.

Even though I enjoyed Louiseville losing; they got hosed on that call !!!!

good point
lol... it's going to take me forever to get used to that. You are correct and who cares since they are not in our bracket anyway.

Positve Karma. I hope everyone plays well except the teams we are playing.

Polar opposite is a good thing in this case.

If Winthrop had hit the shot and the referees called a walk, would you feel the same way?
That play was just another example of officials swallowing their wistles at the end of the game. If it occured any other time during teh game it would have been called. If UT would have gotten the 4 or 5 seed they deserved they would be jetting home to knoxville today. I coudl understand them moving up one seed but a team ranked 19th should never been a 2 seeds.
