Duke and BC almost had a thrown down.
Reddick did a great job in keeping the freshman Paluas (sp?) in check. Say what you want about him but he is a great leader and showed seniorship. The BC coach also did a great job of getting over there and keeping things calm.

Paulus made a fantastic play, bouncing the ball off of a Boston College player... but then HIT him after the play was over. It might have just been emotion, but that's still no excuse for nailing the guy. Of course, that brought the entire BC bench over to the Duke bench... and it could have become really ugly, if not for some timely intervention by the BC coach.
And of course, Duke Vitale is trying his best to spin it that Paulus was just "trying to congratulate the guy on his hustle." lmfao lmfao lmfao
End result both teams go 1-2 from the line.
There is no doubt that was a slap by Pawlus. His own teammates gave him a push from behind. Maybe he was upset about that? lmfao

Both commentators said that it looked like Paulus meant to slap him on the chest for his hustle, but that the Boston College player didn't realize the intent behind the contact, which is why he took offense and pushed Paulus along the sidelines.

OK dipsh!t I just Tivo'ed it back because I want to make it clear how foolish this baord sounds in regards to Duke. Vitale said nothing of the sort about hustle and condgatulatory comments at all. Once again you just lie and scream louder because out of everybody in this thread only a couple are even watching this game the others just come around to support the "cool kids". The other announcer said something about 5 mintues into it that he didn't know what Paulus was doing he didn't know if Paulus was trying to hit him or congratualte saying nice hustle. They keep showing clips and yet again noone can figure out what happened. It is pretty freaking clear there was no intent for him to hit him on purpose and he was just celebrating like Duke normally does. And yes it is annoying when they act too excited after hustle plays. One of the reason everyone hates on them.

while I don't have Tivo, I do have DVR, and I watched it several times. Vitale was pretty clear that he didn't think there was anything intentional on Paulus' part.
If you objectively look at the replay, you can see Paulus looking directly at the BC player as he is getting up. One view, from the opposite end of the court, showed Paulus make contact with his head first, then he turned it slightly as he slapped his hands in a clapping motion on the BC player. Intentionally. But he turned his head slightly because he's a coward and didn't want to face the BC player while he did it.
Fact is, Paulus needs to grow up. It is fine to show emotion, but he comes off as a punk.

FOR THE RECORD I like College Basketball, teams that play good solid fundamental basketball. I root for the Tigers to win every game. I grew up watching the Tigers. I went to Memphis. I enjoyed that ADCC game today BC is an excellent team, I was hoping they won. So you can throw out the go to this board link. I am a Tiger fan and that is it. You, as I stated earlier, are a LIAR PERIOD!
