It is my understanding that there were other transgressions, but I never saw them. I also think it is pretty absurd that he was banned.

As far as what they were I have no clue, but I inquired about him being banned for that thread and the answer was no, that there were other instances that added up.

Some of the "garbage" he has to put up with is of his own doing. The standing rule aroung here seems to be do whatever you want as long as it is not directed at a MOD. Think about what would happen if you or I or any of the "regular" posters were able to ban people everytime we were called to task over something we posted here. He got called out because of an obvious double standard and he does not like getting called out. Childish if you ask me.
It seems like some people (ie mods) around have never had any authority and therefore like to flex their muscles when they can...

I don't. After reading that thread, it was obvious that he crossed the line several times with his "suggestions" of legal action. That's a major no-no, especially threatening someone like SCConway, who has already had to endure some ridiculous legal threats from the University.
This is indeed a free country, and everyone has a right to their own opinion, but there are certainly times when common sense and logic should be exercised before making an ill-advised comment.
Bottom line - he got what he deserved. If I were the chief administrator of this message board, and someone began making ridiculous accusations and even "hinted" at the possibility of legal action... they'd be gone faster than lightspeed.

That is the thing. Btiger said to watch out for bossmans attorneys to which bossman replied he was not suing anyone. I took it as typical Btiger humor that was lost on some. I would not expect Conway to be the fish that got caught this time.
