Oddly enough, I'll sleep tonight knowing we're a better basketball team, program, university and city. You didn't beat us, you won but you didn't beat us.

What was the deal with one of your players, shoving Chris Nance in the face at half court after the play was over? Chris did the right thing in putting his hands up and not retalliating.

Come off it, don't get your feelings hurt because you lost, your team played a great game, but the refs did not lose you the game. Costly TO's are probably what did you in.

By the way, for a team that complains about UL's hacking, you guys sure do a lot of it yourself. Not only do you hack at the ball, you handcheck almost all game. Darius Washington has the art of the blatent pushoff mastered. You run moving screens. You take cheap shots when the plays are over. Your coach spends half the game at or around the half court line (although he was a good sport when I asked him what that dead thing on his head was), one of your players said something highly objectionable to a female fan, the list of reason your program is not classy and your team is not flawless go on and on.

I don't care if you hate me, or disbelieve everything I write, we clearly heard one of your fine young men request a girl on the front row give him oral satisfaction. Your players take cheap shots and try to start fights. Washington may be the worst smack talker for pure volume and content. He doesn't even say anything clever.

At least UL has clever players, when they talked smack, they said funny things back and were good sports throughout the game.

This particular game, your charlotte kids were outpalyed and deserved the loss.

No one complained about refs the last two times Memphiss went to Charlotte and lost under Calipari. No one is always blaming the refs.

But last night's game was pitifully managed by the refs...and most of the referee's inabilties resulted in favorable calls for the home team. Wrong out of bounds calls. Failure to call clear charges. These ridiculous errors probably ledt to 10-12 extra possessions for Charlotte. And that was the difference last night.

This may be the best team Charlotte has had in decades. And at home, with the benefit of horrible refereeing, against a team that lost its best player mid-season, and again hugely ref aided, charlotte barely squeaked by.

Home court advantage win completely.

Admit it or not. Lutz and company were an embarassment.

The better team, the better school, the better football school, the more recognized school, the school with a longer and more illustrious history got the L last night. But sure, charlotte has a nice RPI.

The big controversial t has been cleared up--both teams assistant coaches were called for bench technicals. No free throws are ever given in the case of a double bench technical. So whichever 110BUSA player struck #00 Chris Nance, got away with it. That's why the refs went to video. However the video only showed Basden's dunk.
