They have UCF listed as the only A-Sun team to make the Regionals. Since when did the A-Sun become a one-team-only baseball league? Not sure I agree with this prediction . . . .

I'll agree that Stetson and FAU aren't making great cases at an at large birth. Lord knows Jacksonville probably won't even make the A-Sun tournament.

The only question is why they haven't noticed the season that Troy is putting together in the heart of the "SE"
I think they are waiting to see what happens when Troy takes on the Florida teams (UCF, FAU, Stetson) before making a decision on them.

Correct. Troy is a "bubble-out'" team right now. The RPI is only about 60th, but that will go up as conference play progresses. At the time of the projections Troy had only 2 games vs RPI top 50 teams, and lost both.

If the Trojans do reasonably well against the higher-ranked ASUN teams, there's a good chance they'll get in.

Remember, these aren't predictions about what's going to happen over the next 6 weeks, they are what Mark thinks the committee would do if the season had ended last Sunday. They're not even necessarily what Mark thinks should be the case...

UCF is the only team right now that would likely get an at-large bid without winning the regular season title or the tournament. Stetson and FAU are very close to that point., and if Troy is still at the top of the standings at the end of the regular season they'd be in, too.
