Dateline: Memphis, May 16, 2005


The tires from the new DeAngelo William's Car were stolen early on Monday morning. Officials suspect that the thieves are in fact U of M players who will file a false insurance claim. Also stolen from the trunk of the car were several furs and a Da Vinci painting. When asked what he would do with the proceeds from the insurance money, Deangelo stated: "Buy a color copier and spread the wealth to the other players on the team!" When asked about the loss of his car, Williams proclaimed "It was gonna be a wreck after the first game anyway."

This is actually kind of clever.................in a Go To Hell, Missississippippi kind of way............................ :laugh:

It just needs a few bullet holes in it resulting from the weekend Missississippippi spent in Memphis entertaining recruits........... :biggun:

Ole Miss sucks really bad.

But that is really funny.

actually i ordered 8....i got the girls in my office to order a couple....Im the only rebel in my family...thought they would make nice gifts come christmas to my family of tiger fans....of course if his campaign becomes legit, they may end up on ebay. :wave:


And Kpigout.....the rowdy on the hood of the car is pretty damn funny....but playing the race card with the confederate flag was kinda outa line

So that would mean that youve only known that memphis had a university for a couple of years....way to jump on the bandwagon.

I can't imagine why anyone would associate Confederate Flags with Ole Myth.

Or he could be from way far away and have recently moved here, and ENROLLED at the school... egads! surely not a STUDENT!!!

And maybe he grew up following a team that beat your redneck little hick school so severely and with such regularity that the specifics of your program (like who your crappy coach is/was) was of no consequence, as your entire university was but a blip on the radar, if that.

BTW, the first time I had the extreme fortune of laughing at your pathetic football program was around '90 in Lee County.

Of course I realize that when talking to Memphis fans, you must refer back to the days of leather helmets in order to maintain that illusion of greatness, but lets try to stick with modern, relevant history.

I can assure you that my existance is anything but pathetic. I hope however that you mispoke and were refering to my University. The post was intented as a light hearted joke that most people would hopefully get a kick out of, if your not one and cant see the humor in this then I don't know what to tell ya.

I can take a joke and I was in fact making fun of my own school by my platinum remark. I'm not gonna debate you here and put up stats on why I think my schools great...I'm a fan, and yes I want my team and my university to do well. I assume that you are as well. I'm gonna think that my school is the best and so are you....most people that post here get that. In time when your not so new to memphis you may too. The humor in taking a jab at somebody's school comes from getting creative like kpigout did or memphomike, not getting personal....most people that post here get that as well.

At the bottom of the screen their is a little box that says "ignore", if you click it you won't have to read anymore of my post's. I suggest you do this, for I can assure you I will be using it.

I didn't realize you were so sensitive about your schools very recent use of the flag. It was just a little poke at your school for having had to stop using it.
