UNF Womens soccer scores 1-0 over McNeese State.

UNF controlled much of the game. After a scoreless first half, UNF scored on a free kick for the only goal of the match.

With about 20 minutes left in the match, a monsoon outer band from the hurricane hit. After about 5 minutes of play in heavy downpour, they called the game for lightning. Apparently in the NCAA, if a game goes past the 70 minute mark, they can call the game, which they did.
Well done, UNF!

What are UNF's most successful sports to date?
Look for UNF volleyball, tennis, wsoccer, and baseball to be competitive immediately in the conference. The baseball team has been routinely beating up on pretty good D1 teams. They made it to the D2 championship game last year.

I think both hoops squads will struggle as well as men's soccer. No football at UNF :frown:

Volleyball is off to 3-0 start and have a couple of games today.

WSoccer is 2-1 and playing very well

MSoccer opens tonight in a California tournament.

GO OSPREYS!!!!

Out of the sports you mentioned above, baseball is the most important in terms of increased exposure. Division 1 college baseball is starting to get more air time on ESPN, and CSTV will show a lot of games.

No football? That's just wrong.

Who will UNF play in California?
UNF lost to UC Irvine and will play Loyola Marymount tomorrow. Those two clubs are significantly more experienced and talented than UNF right now.
