That is exactly your problem. We know who we are. We are OK with who we are. We do not think we are SEC champions before every season.
We also know that we have had no problem beating your brains in 2 yrs in a row. If that's a sorry program, I would hate to be in your shoes.

i'm not going down this road.
The writer made an equally bad knock on your program... if not worse.
See ya on the 5th.
We're Tigers!!!!! We're not the ones with a identity crisis!!!!
Is it Colonel Rebecca??? Or are you crossdressing now???

Williams' affiliation with Memphis Tigers will NOT hinder him from signing a NFL multi-million $ contract.
yea we know the series record but what is it after we became a recognized university under bery adverse condition? I believe if is close to even.

You are going to feel really STUPID when this sorry program beats OM three times in a row. Getting beat so soundly by a sorry program, makes your program PATHETIC.
The people that count, like Corey Mills, who vote with their feet, know what's going on in Oxford, more than you do.

One thing is for certain..... you'll never hear an Ole Miss fan bragging about a 2-game win streak in this series.
or 4... or 5... or 6... or 18.
Pack in some of those and get back to me....
(they haven't happened since 1921.... and i don't expect them to happen anytime soon)
This series and our schools are no closer than it was in the 70's when you won 3 in a row. Ole Miss went on to win 13 of 15.
Were we weven then?
We've come a long way in only 55 years! Go Tigers GO!
naFlebeRmaI Wrote:One thing is for certain..... you'll never hear an Ole Miss fan bragging about a 2-game win streak in this series.
Well, not in this series. You'd have to actually get a 2-game streak to hear such things. Maybe if you start a series with a small, rural school with an even smaller football program you might hear such bragging from an Ole Miss fan. Maybe you could get a series with Wyoming so you could achieve such bragging rights. Oh, wait...

thing is, pal.... we have those streaks i mentioned. like the 4-game previous to your last 2 fluke wins.
We beat Florida twice in a row... does that mean we've passed them since 02 and 03?
Truly you're not that ignorant, oh wait...
on Sept 5th.... it will be 2 out of 3.... but why isn't the same true right now?
Wrap your small mind around that.

When you can compose a sentence that comes marginally close to being gramatically correct, we can talk about how close our schools "is."
Until, keep thinking that our programs are no closer than they
were 30 years ago. We'll just keep beating you in football.

So I guess you choose to overlook the facts in lieu of grammar.
Go spread some more usefulness about hurricane victims why don't ya?
Run on home, little johnnie rebel, go tell the truth. Your distant great aunt belongs to that country club, your cousin was Trent's liason to the homophobic committee, and you really love the diversity of Memphis.

I'm not quite sure what all of that means. But I'll go with it...
be careful reb we may be 3 out of 4 on our way to 4 in
a roll after monday. but then again we may be 2 for the
last 3 also. either way these 2 programs are on equal
ground. i find that as an accomplishment at the time. you
should consider that as a compliment.
we are proud that our football program has escalated to
the mississippi program. we are greatful that when talked
about on tv for the most part, it is positive. you should
consider it positive that memphis is proud to have risen
to equal ground when it comes to talent on the field.
we all know we have room for improvement in the support
area. we are striving for the support you guys have. tommy has put the product on the field equal to most any around here. now it is up to this town to see it and support it.
we hope to see you in the liberty bowl for some of our
other games this year. we know alot of you enjoy the
bball games so come on out for the football games.
memphomike Wrote:we know alot of you enjoy the

Yes! Come on out you Memphis proper basketball fans for football too.

This is a tired line.
There is not a mississippi fan out there that would not have said they passed Florida after the 2003 season. To a man, mississippi fans, heading into the 2004 season, after beating the Gators back to back, felt that their program, mississippi, was ahead of Florida.
In 2003-2004, Memphis was ahead of mississippi. They look stronger this year too. mississippi is decent enough to spring the upset which makes the game a good one.
You, on the other hand, spend a lot of time on Memphis' board throwing flames and picking around. What is the point? Even this post will inspire you to try and come up with something witty. Time to go son.

On-campus-self-unlockable jail cells now!!
I have to say, I love all this back and forth. It gets me ready for gametime.
I do agree that it's silly for other Rebel fans to bring up 40 years ago, because that doesn't mean a thing today. Memphis does have the bragging rights at the moment because of last year, so we can't very well talk about the recent past, but just as the past 40 years don't help us, last year's bragging rights don't matter anymore come Sept. 5.
It should be a good one. I can't wait.
Let's not have any more garbage...OK?!?
Mississippi Rebels suck.
Their quarterback, "Spermlock", sucks.
Oxford sucks.
"Little Precious Eddie" Ogereon sucks.
They go down hard Monday. No glee...no ceremony...no messing around... we will knock them on their asses.
It's getting old beating the crap out of our lowly neighbors to the south. But I do get tired of hearing all of the drivel they dish out.
GO TIGERS!!!!!

BS , no Rebel fan EVER said that. Keep trying to make up "truths". It'll get you nowhere.
Memphis sucks.

Overall, as a program, we aren't ahead of them. Head to head, we hold a 2 game lead over them though.
