Although Rice has a solid hold on first place, the remainder of the Conference USA race has become quite wild the past couple of weeks. UCF is coming off its first-ever sweepin C-USA, Marshall has won back-to-back league series and Houston and Memphis are just a game apart for second place. There are only six games seperating second place from ninth as the league gets ready for its final three conference weekends before the C-USA Tournament in Greenville, N.C., May 23-27.
