Who was the defensive coordinator that left recently?
Did ya'll replace postion coaches when he left? Who were they ( esp LB is what I am hunting)

Tyrone Nix went to South Carolina after the 2004 season. I'm not sure if the position coaches were replaced, but I think that Hopson took over the secondary.

You may have noticed ... this board doesn't get quite the traffic that the Memphis bbs board does!
Ironically, when Tyrone left for South Carolina, he originally was co-coordinator - with another former USM DC, John Thompson. The DC that served in between their times is also at South Carolina, Dave Wommack. I think Spurrier likes Southern Miss defensive coaches!
