Greetings, all. I'm just stopping in to wish the Coogs good luck this year. I think you guys will really enjoy the new improvements to Rice Stadium for the Bucket. Between the new Robertson and the Rice Stadium renovations, I think we finally have some top-tier venues between us.
After the Owls take it to you guys in game 1 (wink), I hope you can regroup and win out. Like many Houston families, mine is filled with Coog faithful (including my wife) so I follow UH a good deal. My impression is that Art Briles is a class act and I think he's gotten the program on course for bigger and better things.
After Kolb's first season I thought there might be another Andre Ware-type phenom on Cullen. Kevin has performed well in general but there were a few points when I thought you guys were going to break through and he has not been able to seal the deal. I realize he may break UH all-time records and he's being considered a long-shot Heisman candidate, but after that freshman season of 50+ point games left and right and the amazing 4th quarter in the Hawaii bowl game I thought you guys were heading to the top 25 to stay for a while. It hasn't happened yet but maybe this is the year.
I think I can speak for the majority of the Owl fans by saying we're pulling for you...after the Bucket of course.
